Extra Info Center Sections
3rd times the charm = back here in plug-in requests.
below all the quotes is the old v.4 code, i agree a nice plug-in would be wonderful, Versatile and user friendly. i hope someone can find away to do this.
support.proboards.com/thread/434900/request-plugin-extra-stations-center
this was requested by SIGa in pluging area, but was sent here to ask, so i am also asking about.
Sorry to send you round in circlessupport.proboards.com/thread/449446/page/1/extra-info-center-sections#scrollTo=5188170
hum now do i write a whole new request in plug-ins?, request this be moved? or keep linking links also? (fear of links = linkin logs philosphy= could end up building a log cabin, before i get this request correctly placed)
warning v4 code info below
This code will add extra sections to your info center with whatever material you decide to put in them. Enjoy. Main Footer:
Code:newsections[0] = ["Section Name","Section Info Center Icon","Section Information"];
newsections[1] = ["Section Name","Section Info Center Icon","Section Information"];
newsections[2] = ["Section Name","Section Info Center Icon","Section Information"];
newsections[3] = ["Section Name","Section Info Center Icon","Section Information"];
It'd be general info stuff or Like, maybe you want your affiliate in the info center.
(ps i have one forum that has 6 new sections attached below info center! plan is to cut that back but need a few still, where else would i want a quick glance general info? but maybe in an info center) i like the idea of being able to split up sections also, the ones i have do span the width. the idea is to have this part of info center not look unconnected.

You could really just do this with a template modification.

I think a plugin is suitable for this type of thing, as it can be done so that you could split up a new section into columns if needed, or add a completely new section with icon that spans the whole width. A lot of customising could be done with this.
Sorry to send you round in circles
lol thankyou peter, thats ok, "round and round she goes, where she stops nobody knows!" lol
