v4 as a "jump to" at the bottom of the page. Can that be done here? Or can the Navigation Tree be placed at both the top and the bottom of the page? Thanks!

Thank you, VIP. I did a search before creating the thread and couldn't find a thing!

Actually, I'm looking to place the Navigation tree at the bottom as well as the top.
Or an actual "jump to" pop up window at the bottom ~ as currently used in v4.

The navigation tree is an automatically generated element that utilizes Javascript with its unique ID. For that reason, it's not possible to have two on the same page.

Would the same apply to "Participated"?
Could that be at the top and bottom of the page?

Thank you! Guess I'll go to requests and hopefully someone can design a "jump to" plugin or some sort of code that can bring navigation down to the bottom of the page. It's a shame "jump to" was deleted from v5. It's a very helpful feature for many.

This thread also talks about adding a second nav tree on the bottom. The thread title is about moving the nav tree below the ads, but it does later talk about adding the bottom one. In fact, that's where I got my own info from.

I'm so glad you posted that thread, moonbeam! I needed the script for placing the News Feed above the Nav Tree!

If I can't get a second Nav Tree at the bottom, can I place links in the footer? If so, how?

Post a topic into the plugins/template board. They will be best equipped to answer that question
