Hi All, Fat from all the Easter Eggs? Eggcellent! OK, down to business, is there any code that will keep the NEW Board envelope indicator. respective to each member, whilst there are still new/unread threads subordinate to that Board. I've noticed that if there are two or more new threads in a particular Board and you read one of them, the NEW Board indicator disappears? Not a big issue whilst my forum is small, but one could miss new posts when it grows. I know we have nn last posts, but I'd like something more visible please? Now continued as a Feature Request here -> support.proboards.com/thread/new/29

Greetings,
The new indicator on a board simply means a post has been made since the last time the board was viewed. If there are three new threads and you read one, then return to the home page, the new indicator will not appear until a new post is made. A code cannot change this functionality.

Welcome, and apologies for the limitation. Thank you RedBassett - maybe something to consider for V6? - and no apology required

Personally I prefer the system you have described. You can try a feature request for V5, but I see it as highly unlikely.
