I am going to close my forum on May 1st of this year. Lot's of reason for this. The main reason is ths loss of membership since switching to the V5 version of Pro Boards. I had 125 members of which about 30 were active. After the change to V5 that dropped off to about 10 active members. When I ask people about this. They said it was just not easy to move around in and they didn't like it. There are quite a few Model Car Forums that don't have those problems. My question is do I have to do anything more than Delete the forum? I see the delete this forum button in te admin panel. I just want to make sure that's all there is to it. Thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear about that. If you want the forum gone completely, all you need to do is delete it yes. However, you can put it in Maintenance Mode, so only staff can log in, that way if you decide to come back, you can.

Thank you for the quick reply. I want to have it gone. If things don't work out I can always start over again. Model Car Forums are photo heavy I am going to Adimin a forum for a friend of mine that offers things like direct photo posting from your home computer. auto resize of the photos, members galleries and ease of movement. skidsplace.forumotion.co/This is what it looks like. He is from England so not sure where this template is hosted at but it works awesome. This is not an easy decision to make but it is the best one. I have been thinking about this since January, I was waiting for the membership to start to build back up again. Doesn't look like it's going to happen. Again thanks It's been a good 2 years. Sorry it ended this way. I feel like they tried to fix something that wasn't broke and made it worse.

Sorry to hear that, zbuckster. Out of curiosity, is there anything the layout that you feel could be improved? You have direct access to the HTML, and given the chance I'd be happy to help restructuring that HTML to work more in your favor.
