It's possible for a member to be part of multiple member groups on the forum. If this is the case for your account, you can choose which member group your account is displayed in. This will be viewed when members view your profile, as well as underneath your display name in the posts that you make on the forum. To determine which member group is displayed for your account, click the Profile button found in the top menu bar of the forum, and then on your profile page click the Edit Profile button. You'll now be taken to the Edit Profile & Settings page; once here, click on the Settings tab. Once the profile settings page has loaded, look for the Display Group option found towards the bottom of the page. Use the drop-down menu provided to choose the member group you want your account to be displayed with, or choose None if you do not want your account to appear as any member group. Keep in mind that if your account is in one or more member groups, changing your Display Group will not affect your status in those member groups. For example, if you are part of a member group and set your Display Group to None, you will still be part of the member group and will enjoy the benefits of that group. The only thing that changes is your profile's appearance. Once you have made your selection, click on the Save Account Settings to save the changes. Once this is completed, your changes will take effect immediately. Source: www.proboards.com/user-guide/profile-preferences/display-group
