Hi all, Unfortunately, the broker has decided to go with my crazy roommate's applicants over mine due to job stability and income (which makes sense as they're 7 years older than us and my one roommate is in grad school). So that's unfortunate. I did get the 9/1 moveout date with assurance that if my roommate tries to move my things out that I could call the cops and she'd get in trouble. And let's face it, who knows what she told them about you. For all we know you could have been described as some sort of raging psychopath. Good thing you found another apartment already. Very good point, she already doesn't admit to her faults and denied ripping the thermostat off the wall so I have little hope I was painted in a halfway decent light. I do like the new place a lot too, just no central air or free laundry >.<

That really bothered me too so maybe this is for the best.

If anyone is still interested. The B**ch is still crazy. I used one of her ice packs in the fridge to keep my yogurt cool while I went to the dentist, so you know, it wouldn't curdle. When I got home she asked who had taken the ice pack, and I told her I did and explained why and she just snapped "Well I need them for my lunch so don't take them." She did the same sort of thing with the mail key (which is on the spare set) on Sunday, when I realized I had taken them to my 5k and hadn't put them back. Her response "you have another mail key don't take this one." So naturally, I put it back, then slammed my mail key on the table where she was sitting and walked away. Also, this: It's written on the cap too.

Right now i'm more concerned about how things are looking for getting a new place to live. Updates as to the roommates mental instability while somewhat amusing, are not necessary anymore.

Oh I did find a place to live! I got an apartment in Brookline just steps to the T so I'm super excited for that.
Apparently we have a new roommate moving in today, but I've never met her/know anything about her.

I think I can deal with her for a month. I just know its a girl, why is beyond me cause clearly my current roommate doesn't like to live with girls. I move into the new place on September 1st It's with two of my good friends so I'm excited.

Update: I THINK my new roommate moved in? I saw a light under his/her door this morning (I think it's a girl) but still haven't met them. It's really weird.

Still haven't met her, but she wasn't around this weekend (neither was the other one thank God). Though this morning my sister (who came for the weekend to visit) was using the bathroom and she got made she was in there during "her" bathroom time. Please note that all she had to do was literally use the bathroom before leaving on a 3 hour drive back to our parents house.

Well, some people have to use their allocated bathroom time slots (cough cough Dr. Sheldon Cooper).

Allocated bathroom times? really?! Bathroom time is when my bladder says it is, not when someone tells me to. I thought that's how it was for everyone.

Right? I mean if my sister had been taking a shower or something I would have been more sympathetic. But she was literally just using the bathroom to relieve herself. A mere 60-90 seconds after my roommate snapped, she got out. But I guess it really threw off her day because she slammed both the bathroom door and her bedroom door when she was done.
Also she had the AC on 67 last night (it was 54 degrees out) and I discovered she came into my room when I wasn't there to close my windows, even though I'd shut my vent because I prefer the fresh air at night but that's just me. It really bothers me that she comes into my room, mainly because I don't go into hers.
