Hey! My proboards site (http://topcheddar.proboards.com) just updated from the older version to the newer version. I was told to request a plugin because I want the add more images to the Wysiwyg / BBCode Buttons section of proboards (beside the fonts, alignment and stuff).
We run a simulation hockey league so we use the 30 hockey images often on a daily basis. I know you can add it under the smiley in reply, but we want to be able to see the images and click it, right when we hit reply.
I downloaded the "quick reply BBcode buttons" to add the images to quick reply/reply BUT it makes it that the image must be a tag. Which is really annoying, especially when you click more then 2 pictures, because usually we would just put the tag into the censored words, but when you press 2 or more of the pictures, it surrounds the whole thread with whatever you put. (For example, we used to have it where when you click on the picture it would show up as :ana: on the thread, which we put into sensored words. Now I can only create it to show up as [ANA][/ANA] which is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Especially when your someone posting all the scores for every team in a simulation league. (Simming all the hockey games and posting the score for every game.)
SO I would like to request a plug in that works somewhat like the "quick reply BBcode buttons" plug in, but does not require you to have to use a tag. I want it like how it works as the smileys where when i click it, it would show up as :ana: and now [ANA][/ANA]
here is a picture of how it was with the old pro boards:
and here what it looks like now (I had to type in everything or else when i don't and just click on each picture like I usually do, it ends up like picture 3.)
This is what it really looks like, and this is why the current method of doing it won't work for censored words.
and this is how the current plug in works. If there is a way to make it so instead of making a tag (which is required, as you can see), we can make it appear as any type of code we want (in our case :ana: ) that would be awesome.
This is what we used to do in the global header/footer to make it work. But it doesn't work anymore.
