Try this?
<td class="created-by clickable" style="align:center;">$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_quote]$[thread.created_by]</td>

On my testing board tcptestingboard.boards.netUsing Firefox & Chrome on the General Board the small avatar and usernames All look aligned center - the small quote avatar that shows above the created by username I would be interested if any user using a updated version of Internet explorer 9 - 10 could view my test board tcptestingboard.boards.net And let me know If it's still an issue with the little avatar not aligning center above each user name
As all displays center when I'm using chrome & firefox Thanks - Steve

The code I am using - On the layout template > Board > Thread List<td class="created-by clickable"><center>$[thread.created_by_user.avatar_quote]$[thread.created_by]</center></td> For this template support.proboards.com/thread/479522/template-users-avatar-created-columnGrateful for any help suggestions on how to make align center on Internet explorer alsoThanks - Steve

.avatar-wrapper is set to display:table-cell in order to then use vertical-align:middle this however is apparently causing IE to ignore the centering directive for that element. In this particular case the vertical alignment is unimportant anyway so just set the display back to block by adding the following rule .created-by .avatar-wrapper {display: block;}
