I found a cached version of your old forum. Is this what you want ~ a simply line border?

Hi Jefferson, Visit your admin panel then navigate to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS. On the next page click on the "Style Sheet" tab and the find the following on line 227: #banner-container { display: table; width: 100%;} Modify this line so it looks like the following instead: #banner-container { display: table; width: 100%; border: 1px solid #7cfc00;} This should make a border appear around the welcome table after that

Anyway I can fix that? Other than that it is what I wanted.

try this.
#banner-container { display: table; width: 100%; border-left: 1px solid #7cfc00; border-right:1px solid #7cfc00;}
and if you want it on the tops and bottom, then add in. border-top: 1px solid #7cfc00; border-bottom:1px solid #7cfc00;

Don't really want to butt in here, but would just like to add that I'm interested in the solution to this also, as I am trying to do the same thing and I have the same result. I just want to follow the instructions for accomplishing this as outlined here. Didn't want to start an identical thread. Okay. My lips are zipped. LOL

Jefferson, this could be a forum width thing. Could you just lower your forum width a little to see if this solves the problem?

Because of the hidden overflow on the forum wrapper that right side will be hidden when using the W3C box model, to see all the borders it will need to be shrunk down to the old school IE box model by adding -moz-box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-box-sizing: border-box; box-sizing: border-box; to that CSS rule that was given.

Just a side note: That made it work for me. Thank you Chris
