delusional.freeforums.net/The theme you're seeing is called lightning and was made as a request to one of the members on the forum, but after fiddling a bit with the hover banner template mods I discovered that an image could be used in place of the css links hover by Brian. After numerous edits to the staff section, I managed to get the images to show, but as you can see (If you hover over admin) the image doesn't align too good, I've tried adding margins and padding to the css and templates areas but cannot figure it out. My ideas was to have the image names (Rach, Capt. Meows etc) transition in, rather than just POP and they're there, if possible. So maybe there's a way to have them scroll in, with ease rather than be so WHAMMY? Any advice or solutions to this would be gratefully appreciated. EDIT: I am referring to the admin/staff links in the hover banner area. step 1. hover over the banner/logo please. step 2. hover over where it says staff (on the right) admin to see my name appear. step 3. thank you

Just wanted to show you real quick what it looks like on my screen, IMAGE. I don't see any overlapping problems with the admin area but it conflicts with the sidetable (even if I'm not hovering). It does also fade in, just quickly. Just letting you know! Good luck! =D

₪» ⅀ ƪ Ƒ «₪ thanks for showing me that, I'm using chrome and am guessing your using IE or Safari? that or its a resolution issue. hmm maybe I should lower the widths a little for starters, thanks again though. Its always good to know what others are seeing.

It's absolutely no problem, Welshling, you can bother me 'bout it all you want. =) I'd love to help you get it perfect. ^^ I'm almost always on Support hahah. So, when I put in the URL, the very first view I get without any scrolling or clicking is THIS. All I did then was hover my cursor over the logo, still no other scrolling or clicking, and the view is THIS. And, finally, this was once I moved over and clicked Toggle HERE. I use Chrome as well so I don't think it's a browser issue

So it must be a resolution issue then, I have already altered the width of the forum and banner to just 800px i'm stumped now what else to do :/

Ahh, I realized the problem. My screen is broken so I have to keep my window smaller (not full-screen) so the site doesn't auto-adjust like a normal one does. When I went into full-screen, it fixed itself. So I guess as long as people are viewing through the normal, full-screen window, there shouldn't be a problem. =D My apologies for not thinking of that earlier. xD

ok phew, now that's resolved. Now I just need to figure out how to get the images to scroll in over the staff member groups rather than pop up when hovered over in the banner.
EDIT: I tried adding in a transition to the a:hover part of the css, for the images. But this just made the images jumpy, i don't know how else to explain it really. If anyone could advise me on how to get the images in the staff section of the hover banner, to scroll over the names (ease in and ease out) i'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks.

Ok, I give up trying to figure this out. so I've deemed the request, dead. Which means it can be locked, deleted or moved to trash areas.

Hi, Welshling. I imagine it's possible to do it with transition CSS. But I'm not sure I follow on what it is exactly that you're attempting to do. If you're willing to give it another shot, feel free to give a thorough explanation (like what you're supposed to hover over and where the names are supposed to come in from and how).

Brian, In the hover banner area there is a segment for staff on the right hand side. I am trying to get the names Rach, Capt. Meows etc to transition over the staff position. so Admin would be me and when you hover over admin, the name would then hover/transition over the top and with it a link to my admin profile. But Because of the size of the images, its not been easy to do so right now all that is in the staff segment is the clickable name images. And therefor in the css, there is nothing to transition over because I gave up on it. I tried margins and padding, (because the images were over lapping the staff position/titles) and then I tried adding in -moz-transition:0.5s ease-in-out; -webkit-transition:0.5s ease-in-out; into the a:hover but it just made the whole thing jumpy, like how your avatar is being hit on the head it was somewhat flashy. That is the only way I can describe what was happening. But if you can figure out what it is that I'm saying and know of a way to achieve this, i'm all ears.

Example link See the sidebar, where they have staff images and when rolled over the name appears above? Something along the lines of this, for my forum please?
