You will need to go into the admin edit groups and and manually give her the powers there. It will also give the option for how many stars she should have.

This is what my friend just wrote~ I tried it out, and there is still no change. Could it be because Scott and I are using the same computer? I wouldn't think so, but you never know. Don't worry about it, though. I don't need to be an administrator, I'm perfectly happy with just being a regular poster. What did I do wrong?

Did you modify the person's profile and change the member group to admin? Also Frubug in his reply showed you the method in which you can select the powers you want that admin group to have. Make sure you follow his instructions.

Yes I did Snakeair Member Group - Administrator Custom Title- Administrator Maybe I shouldn't have put in a custom title Ok, try this out. admin--member groups--modify group--select admin from drop down menu proceed to next page. Where is says 'group is staff' set to YES. where it says "limit powers" set to NO. continue to next page where you can select Yes or No to what powers you want the admin group to have. Change the custom title won't effect anything. If this doesnt work can you post your URL and let us know which member you trying to make admin.

Or you could just make them a G-Mod, they have the admin powers...

Okay, let's try this again. After modifying your friend's profile and setting her into the administrator member group. Go to your admin panel, look for "Modify Groups" Now choose "Administrator" Now have these options: And on the next page, elect the powers you wish to grant and click save and the administrator member group should have powers.

Or you could just make them a G-Mod, they have the admin powers... you still have to set their powers in the same way.
