Hopefully the title isn't too misleading. I'm also not sure whether this would be better off here or in the Plugin board so I guess I'll have to see. I have one particular thread on a board that has one main leading post (the first post) and I would like, if at all possible, to have that one post be visible as the first post on all of the subsequent pages. The thread itself is a thread for a 365 project. So I post once a day and then I update the first post with the information (word count for the latest post and such). Sure, I can post, then load the first page and go update the first post, but if I had access to the first post at the top of every page it would honestly be a rather wonderful thing. If not possible, I don't mind, I just thought I'd give it an idea. Here is a link to an external website (not proboards, of course but it's where the idea came from) that has such a function going for them. I assume it's that way for every thread but I'm only looking to achieve it on that one particular thread. w11.zetaboards.com/taleofdragons/topic/9763207/1/ If you check any of the pages on that thread, the very first post of the thread is on every page. It is what I'm hoping might be achievable.

I don't think this is possible. I'm not sure how you'd do it for templates and I've been told plugins cannot retrieve information from pages that you are not currently viewing, i.e. the first page if you are on the second. You could make the 'first post' information into the Header of the board but that's really all I can personally think of
