Forum URL: armitagearmy.proboards.comHi, we were wondering if - when we use the "image insert" button above, when it pops up and lets us insert the image URL, if I could remove the "Alt Text" portion of that popup? If it's not possible, that is Ok. But we think it's confusing to our members, the way it is. We're rather have the button just function to insert the image URL, with nothing else. If we could. thanks squid

Hi, Lady Squid. I'm not aware of a way to do that. While the window that comes up is always present in the page's HTML its contents dynamically change depending on which button you press in the editor. It would be difficult to make it specifically hide that row for that reason.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Perhaps someone else will come by with a solution, or perhaps a code/plugin request in the appropriate board might attract someone who can think of a way to do it.

No worries, I know that your staff will be (if you aren't already) overwhelmed with converting all of the remaining forums, and helping all the freaked out members and staffs of said forums!

We still answer threads in Support every day regardless. Of course, but I can certainly wait to request this once the furor over conversions dies down.

Why not now? Plugin requests aren't just limited to ProBoards staff. The plugin library has proven that there's several capable users out there. I imagine your chances of getting a response are higher having posted a thread.
