How can I change text box colors?

I have 2 problems that are very close related.

1. I have a dark theme and the quick reply box is bright white.

2. Also in my dark theme the message post box (what I'm typing in right now) is way too dark.

So I was wondering if someone could show me how to change the colors on both of these boxes.

Have you tried altering the backgrounds for background 1 and 2?
Admin > Colors & Theme creator. Background 1 & Background 2.

If that doesn't help, take a look at Admin > Advanced styles & CSS > Click editors and alter the background colors to suit for both preview and bbcode editor areas.

Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Editors > Preview Editor > Background
Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Editors > BBCode Editor > Background

Then..

Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Forms > Text Areas
You may also want/need to adjust "Text Fields" too. Text fields, is stuff where you type the thread subject. Text area is the quick reply box - for example.

Thanks, I have one more issue though.

3. The text on the Edit Profile button turns white.
I thought I had found that in the CSS editor but it didn't do anything.

The stuff that are greyed are, are simply not on the page you are viewing in the preview pane. For example, if you're on the home page in the preview pane, the stuff for pages such as the thread list, posts etc will be greyed out.

Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS
Near the very bottom you will see "Buttons". Open that up and then select "Hover"

If you notice on the preview pane, on the top right corner it has "select different page". You can go to different areas, and then certain sections will be black, others greyed out. It's to show you exactly what is available on that page.

is what I thought, but it is grayed out and I am on the right page.
