I am composing a new theme. I have disabled it whilst completing it. My questions are:
-When I am finished how do I make it visible to the public? (Enabling it does not make it visible to the public.)
-Is only one theme at a time available to viewers? I would like both to be visible. (Or would I have to start a new page instead? When I put the new theme as the default theme it still did not become visible).
-By way of experiment I made it the default theme, but it still was not visible to the piblic.

You can have more than one theme visible to members. Guests to your forum will see only the theme you have set as default. To change which theme you see when logged in to go to Profile > Change Profile > Settings set Forum Theme then save changes. To check to see what theme is visible to guests, you can click on the in the lower right corner of your screen and view your forum as a guest. (You can then click on login to log back in.)

Thank you very much. That clears up quite a lot for me. You have solved another problem for me, as I have often wanted to view the forum from the perspective of a guest.

Glad I was able to help. Does this clear things up for you, or do you have more questions?

Glad I was able to help. Does this clear things up for you, or do you have more questions? Yes: - Can you tell me what is the basic difference between setting up another page or another theme?. - As I am constructing it, the display name at the top, displays the forum name. It doesn't change to the new display name.

I'm not sure what you are referring to in setting up another page. A theme is the appearance or skin of your forum. You can create a number of themes with which to view your forum, but the content remains the same with each theme. When you create a theme and are asked for a "Theme Name" that just gives the theme a name, so you can tell one from another when you have more than one, it does not change any text on your forum.

Thank you Tressa. Thank you for clearing that up for me. I thought you could change the content. Perhaps I should be looking at setting up another page. I want to expand the forum under a different heading with different content, but related to the primary one. You have answered a lot of unspoken questions hovering in the back of my mind. At least I need not pursue setting up the new theme.

You might want to take a look at the Forum Help Guide. It can answer a lot of questions you may not have even thought of yet.
