Other than the background, I really like the theme I have installed on a self hosted SMF board that I have never used. Is there any way that the look and whatever bits of the structure that will work with Proboards can be copied here? This is the link: theweightlosssurgerycollective.com/index.php?board=1.0Thank you! Kelly I see an error page stating I need to login, in order to see everything properly. However, this isn't a simple case of copying a theme from one host to another. By that I mean, firstly, and most importantly, the designer more than likely created it specifically for SMF Forums. So depending on their terms, which I doubt includes a " you may use this outside of SMF, just be sure to credit me". It's just one of those things. I've never thought about saying it to people "you can use my themes outside of PB..." because I make them specifically for this forum host. So, you'd need to contact the creator to ask if you can use his or her images from that theme, on ProBoards. It's possibly he/she could say yes, it depends what kind of a person they are. If you mention you'd keep all of their (the designers/coders) copyright in tact, and link back to their website/forum, they may be slightly more inclined to allow you. Perhaps also re-assure them that it's for personal use, and not something you're making as a pre-made for other's to use. Another problem is, if they don't allow you to, then we can't copy it, even though it is just simple gradient work being done. You just can't steal someone else's design, even if you are making it yourself from scratch. It's still a form of ripping. You can take idea's/features, of certain elements and expand them to your liking or needs, but you can't copy a complete theme/web-design. Sorry if it's not helpful, but this is my opinion and view on what I think you should/shouldn't do.

Sorry about the login. I forgot I had restricted it after a load of spam was posted. I'll go open it after I have posted this.
Not stealing anything. I bought that theme and it was not made for SMF, but for another board software. It had to be altered to fit SMF. I paid the creator $50 for it, agreed to give credit, and it became mine. It is on a defunct, never used, board that I intend to take down. It is not available for download on SMF or anywhere for free.
The only reason that board remains up is because I wanted to make use of the theme. I'm not as flush as I was then and can't afford to pay for something again. I love the look of that board and I didn't want to throw my $50 away for nothing.
