I know this solution is easy, be buggered if I can find it.
I altered the CSS to make the font in the mini profiles smaller. However, the display name is also small and I cannot seem to change that independently of say, the personal text or info....

Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet
Add this to the bottom of the style sheet if you want to target display name links specifically and change their font size.

You need a medal. That worked... but only for every alternating user in a thread. It shows for posts 1, 3 & 5 and so on, but even numbered posts still have the smaller nick size.
I recall that when I was in the visual editor, changes weren't affecting all posts in this same manner. I had to alter two sections for each and every mini profile to display the same way.
I looked over the stylesheet, dabbled and added this:
.even .mini-profile .user-link { font-size: 16px; }
Thanks again mate, the issue is now resolved.
