or if there is a way to put the updated threads and announcements side by side like 80%/20%. Anything you have an idea to fill this space up better. Thanks

www.hdrc.gri now have only the left sidebar with sidebarr-left id and an extra cell I can't see the new cell you added to the sidebar.. Have you removed it? Todge ,good morning...Now my left sidebar has this settings ...In the recently updated threads i have put the id (sidebarr-left) ,so i have the recent threads on the top... Then ,i have put an extra cell ,from this plugin (body of month) What i want is to have another cell under the body of month... I will do what you suggested now , i will replace the <<sidebarr-left>> with <<RT_here>> in your plugin ,and then go to the first cell in sidebar redux and put <<RT_here>> in the container id to ,and send you the link to see... Is that right?

That sounds correct, after you do that you should be able to add an extra cell in the sidebar redux plugin that should then appear below the Body if the Month cell.

Todge, Thanks for that it was just like the older version. Now is there any way to change how the cells look as far as space, if you look at my forum you can see how all the wording and links are all the way to the left. I would like to fill up the table as much as possible. audioassault.freeforums.net or if there is a way to put the updated threads and announcements side by side like 80%/20%. Anything you have an idea to fill this space up better. Thanks Hmmm..... You can center the text by adding this to the CSS box within the plugin... #recent-threads-cell { text-align: center; } Or you can force justification into the cell, spreading the text across the entire width, but that will probably look horrendous.. #recent-threads-cell { text-align: justify; } #recent-threads-cell>div:after { content: ""; display: inline-block; width: 100%; } Moving the cells beside each other may be able to be acheived using CSS, I'll need to do some experimenting, if not, it should be possible with a code in your forum's footer.

Todge, Sorry im being a pain, but the 2nd code you were right about it made the text look all screwy. The first code is ok and better then keeping it all left sided. But what im kind of looking for is something similar to this: If this cant work is there a way to make the plugin narrower than the forum itself so the text fills the cell up more? Again sorry for being a pain but thanks so much for your help

Is it possible for this plugin-Recent Threads to be placed in the forum's header or in the footer?

Have you tried selecting one of the style options in the Sidebar Redux plugin?

every style option has the same result ,unfortunately... it just adds an empty cell on top and the recent below that... That empty cell isn't actually empty. The Recently Updated Threads Sidebar has it's own title bar and background, as do the containers in the Sidebar Redux. When you see the title bar at the top and that little bit of space between that and the start of the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar, that's part of the container you are putting the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar into. To add another cell below the Recently Updated Threads Sidebar using Sidebar Redux, create the cell you want in Sidebar Redux and move it into the order you want it displayed in by using this symbol in the upper right of each container. Just click on that symbol, hold down and drag the box into the order you want them displayed in. Make sure to save after you get them in the order you want. Hope that helps.

Besides my other annoying question I had for you Todge, was wondering if there is a way to make it so the 5 new threads show only instead of 10?
Thanks

.....If this cant work is there a way to make the plugin narrower than the forum itself so the text fills the cell up more? Again sorry for being a pain but thanks so much for your help You can make the cells narrower by putting this in the CSS Box of the plugin.. #RT-Master>div { width: 70%; margin: auto; } Just change the '70%' to a width you prefer. You can have a set width (500px) if you prefer. Besides my other annoying question I had for you Todge, was wondering if there is a way to make it so the 5 new threads show only instead of 10? Thanks I don't understand what you mean. If you only want 5 threads shown, then select 5 in the plugin settings. Or you can make the cell scrollable and set the height to a size that will only show the top 5 threads of the 10.. #recent-threads-cell { height: 150px; overflow: auto; }

Thanks so much Todge for your help and i dont know how i missed the setting for the thread number to be shown. I appreciate the code for the width.
I have adjusted the thread count and it still is showing more than 5, is there something i did wrong?
Thanks
