Sorry Todge as an update it did work changing it to 5, just took a couple page loads to work. Thanks Sorry, should have told you that. As keys require a user action to be amended, it would require you to actually do something before it would be updated.. You can also click on the Recently Updated Threads title bar, then you'll have the option to remove unwanted threads directly.

Todge: This code: <div id="RT-Here"></div> works for that person's forum. I tried the code on both of my v5 forums. When I installed Recent Threads plugin it offered two locations. The top right or the top left. I guessed that you meant to add the code on top of the Home Template page.
Is there something else that I need to do or have installed? WO asked: Is it possible for this plugin-Recent Threads to be placed in the forum's header or in the footer?

You put the <div> anywhere in your template you'd like the recent threads to be displayed, you then add RT-Here to the relevant option in the plugin, if that is done then most of the other positioning options in the plugin are ignored.
And unfortunately no, this plugin cannot be added to your forums footer, that would require picking the code apart and reformatting it.

I added the code to the top of my home-template page. It was also added to recent thread plugin id. The recent thread did not position itself on top of/above the forum. It was positioned at the top -right side.

Strange... Can you please leave a link to the forum where this is happening?

This is one of the best Plugins ever made! Definitely worth a SuperKey.
A quick question: Currently using it inside Sidebar Redux and having multiple Themes i need to Match Forum Styling. Any way i can make .RTTitle-Bar to text-align: center; while keeping "Match Forum Styling" ?

The recent thread sidebar is designed to go to the top right or to the top left of the forum. I uninstalled that plugin.
Notify me if you would still like to review those two forums. One forum uses the side by side boards.

Hey Todge,
I would like to bother you one more time if i may. Is there a way to place the ShoutBox in the extra cell of your plugin but to the side of it. Currently I have the Plugin at the top of my forum but would like to split the recent threads and the shoutbox 60/40 across the width of the forum.
Thanks, ModFreak audioassault.freeforums.net

Thanks, ModFreak audioassault.freeforums.net Yup, try this... Replace the <div id="RT-HERE"></div> you currently have in your forum template with this.. <div style="height: 350px"><div style="width: 60%; float: left">$[shoutbox]</div><div style="width: 40%; float: right" id="RT-Here"></div></div> Ensure RT-Here is set as the Container ID in the plugin, and add this to the plugins CSS.. #recent-threads-cell { height: 329px; overflow: auto; }

Now Todge I had the <div id="RT-HERE"></div> originally in the global header, so i replaced that code with the one you provided but it is just showing $[shoutbox] and not the actual shoutbox where it supposed to be. Do I need to put in one of the templates? If so which one would be the correct template? I also assume if i want to have the threads on the left and shout on the right i can just flip the code accordingly correct?
Thanks again.

Ahh, OK..
Yup, take that out of your Global Header and put is in your 'Forum Wrapper' template, I suggest you find this part of the template (lines 62 and 63 if standard)
<div id="content" role="main"> {if $[notice]}
and add the code between them, like so..
<div id="content" role="main"> <div style="height: 350px"><div style="width: 60%; float: left"></div><div style="width: 40%; float: right" id="RT-Here"></div></div> {if $[notice]}
