What are some good dimensions for a background image on your forum? When I've gone to try and make a theme, I keep getting pictures that are either too small or too large. I like my images to fill the entire background without repeating and without any empty space framing it. When they're too large, I cannot see the entire image and instead have to choose a part of it to be the background. I'd like it if I could keep the image fixed while filling the entire background.

rainsofchange, CSS can be used to position background images to be fixed in a certain position, as well as fill the entire screen. Do you have a forum where you already have a background image set that's not to your liking?

Oh, I didn't know you could resize images in the editor! I've been selecting images that are too big, so I can only see a part of the image in the background. I know how to fix and position them. It's just the sizing I didn't know about. I was just hoping for rough dimensions so I could resize on my own and just slap the image up.
How do you resize a background image in the editor to fill the entire screen?

It has to be done with manual CSS, so it's not possible in the editor.
Go to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet tab, and scroll all the way down to the bottom, pasting this code below everything:
body { background-size: 100%; }
