Try having it resend the key. A lot of providers decided to block that server specificially for a reasonwhich it would have been nice to be told about. I have the mail routing through another server. THis will also send the mail queue out of the server, however any mail which had already timed out will need to be resent Thanks Martyn. I really would rather use the email I use a lot. If it won't resend within a few hours, could you over ride it or something for me. I would be more than happy to prove its my email account/forum should you require that.

Actually, I'm having the same sorts of problems on my board. People that are signing up aren't recieving their activation keys. I've told them about the email, that hotmail seems to be the most reliable to me, they have it, and still aren't recieving the key codes. There must be a problem somewhere, because I've had these complaints now, even before proboards was updated. If someone can give me some answers I'll pass them along to my signups. Thanks......Mystic

But thats just it, hotmail isnt the most reliable. The emails are being sent but hotmail are totaly blocking them. We have multiple reports that today signups using non hotmail addresses come through instantly
A couple of other threads on this have had that report
I have also replicated that situation myself

Well, I've definately had a few that didn't have hotmail that have encountered the same things. All I need to do is to look at their profile to see what email they have used to signup. There is a problem here that seriously needs to be addressed.

That rule in my opinion is taken over the top, this subject there isnt really a single option where i can edit a code on your board, and fix it... It affects all users on the server, so a single place for discussion makes more sence in my opinion
As for the forum, could you just check 1 final time? I resent the email and tracked it. It definatly left the server, and definatly got TO your provider, with no errors of it being rejected

I've checked it all. And I was only playing with the mention of high jacking, I used the . I don't mind having discussions here.

so how did that send ¬_¬ theres got to be some content of the activation email which its blocking then....
the sent accepted message at the top was the systems responce to your activation email.. so it defiantly sent, and i sent that from the same server, to the server, only differnce was i manually entered all the email commands
only other thing that could be blocked is either the "nobody@pb.com" or a word in the email
either way, ill activate the account since you got my mail
