Let's play a game, GT. I have some work I'm doing late into tomorrow morning. So, you lot get to entertain me whenever I need a quick distraction. All you have to do is post I Really Shouldn't and then what you shouldn't do but are totally guilty of doing right now/today/this week, and why. -------------- I really shouldn't have just opened a 2nd can of RedBull.. My sleep schedule has been messed up for almost a week. I've got to work in the morning (as in physically present, not just remote work like at the moment). I've also had a bottle of NOS, so this will be energy drink #3. Why so much? I'm working on finishing my work's new website (2nd one in a year! yay me ). It's a few weeks delayed already, mostly because of procrastination and I can only really work on it at home and I've only had 1 day off a week the last month. So, what shouldn't you be doing right now?

I have two lesson plans due this week, but I am sitting here playing with math. I mean, I'm ridiculously behind on all my work and for some reason I can only bring myself to do stuff that is equally as boring, but won't help me progress at all.
Anyway, the math is below. I could just use some basic complex analysis for this, but I have a sneaky suspicion that I can do something with that last limit and the process is kind of fun.
$$ \tan(2) = \frac{\tan(1) + \tan(1)}{1 - \tan(1)^2} = \frac{4\tan(1/2)}{(1 - \tan^2(1/2))(1 - \tan^2(1))} = \frac{2^k\tan(2^{-k + 1})}{\prod_{m = 0}^{k-1}{(1 - \tan^2{(2^{-m}))}}} = \frac{2^k\tan(2^{-k + 1})}{\prod_{m = 0}^{k-1}{-\sec^2{(2^{-m})}}}$$
Taking the limit as $k \to \infty$, we have
$$\frac{\lim_{k \to \infty}2^k\tan(2^{-k + 1})}{\lim_{k \to \infty}\prod_{m = 0}^{k-1}{-\sec^2{(2^{-m})}}} = \frac{2}{\lim_{k \to \infty}\prod_{m = 0}^{k-1}{-\sec^2{(2^{-m})}}}.$$

Eating, I tried making chocolate covered bananas but failed, slicing them up was a bad idea What sort of site are you doing? It's for my work- a small chain of phone and gadget repair shops. v1 was a very ugly and basic site, static pages. We had to contact the host to make any updates at a rather expensive cost. I remade it late last year and early this year with a more modern layout with Wordpress as foundation. I've done several Wordpress based things in the past, so this was pretty easy. The boss wanted to start selling items and services on the website, so v3 starts from scratch on an e-commerce platform. Wordpress has some e-commerce solutions but it wasn't the best long-term solution for extensibility and transaction security. Tonight's work includes- testing checkout function to accept Paypal and credit cards, ensuring taxes show up, fixing the About Us page, adding dozens of product pages, etc. Adding product pages is mind numbing, to say the least. >.<

I really shouldn't be on GT in the morning before school starts because of all the homework I have. But you know, part of my online existence is on GT, so if I don't get my daily serving then i won't feel complete throughout the rest of the day.

Which e-commerce solution have you chosen? I've used Woocommerce for Wordpress a couple of times and its been pretty good. Keep meaning to get to grips with Magento. I went with Shopify after a lot of research and back and forth thinking. I almost went with Woocommerce, had the folder downloaded and ready to upload before deciding against it. What got me was that with WordPress and such you're mostly on your own for security and PCI compliance, plus the potential for instability by throwing various necessary add-ons together. Shopify was very slightly more expensive but much more robust for actually selling things, inventory, payment processing, etc. It's blog/page functions are a not as intuitive as Wordpress, but they're good enough. It came down to, "this is going to be a bit harder to learn and set up but will be much easier to maintain over time.

I really shouldn't go to work today because I'm losing my voice (pretty sure it's laryngitis) and I have to talk/work with kids all day, but I've also only been here two months and don't want to take a day off yet.

I really shouldn't have spent the past 30 minutes before school changing my avatar, display name and searching for phrases related to Halloween on the Internet in hope to find a catchy phrase for my personal text but then resenting to a cheesy change in words... but I did because I love GT.

Wordpress isn't the ideal solution for e-commerce, though it does have the advantage of encasing the e-commerce into a familiar CMS. There's obvious things that can be done to improve the security (purchasing an SSL certificate etc) but I do concede that things like Shopify, or Magento are superior...they're just not platforms i'm that familiar with
