Forum URL: neatnettricks.freeforums.netA member of my forum writes: I have tried several times to post a thread which contains examples of commands to be entered in a Windows Command Prompt. A page pops up stating that I am blocked due to the site's security software. I placed all commands in the Insert Code function of the board and still I am blocked. I know that I have posted examples of Command Prompt entries before so I assume this is some new addition to the board. My question is simple, how can we post examples of Command Prompt entries to share with the readers of this forum. I have some very nice tips using the Command Prompt. Can you help me advise him?

Hi If she send this information to you, are you able to post them? The admin's may need to see the contents of the post to see where the problem lies.

So that was successful. What are they trying to post when it is not accepted?

Hi,
I am the user that is having the problem making a post containing example Command Prompt commands. The post has the commands that would be entered into a Windows Command Prompt such as the CD (Change Directory). When I attempt to create the post a web page displays with the message that my posting has been blocked by the security software. I tried with and without using the Insert Code function of your forum. It appears that the security software sees the example command prompt commands as a security threat.
This is new as I have posted examples of command prompt entires in many other posts. My question is:
How can I post an example of command prompt commands without being blocked by the security software? A forum dedicated to helping others fix PC problems has got to allow postings of example commands.
Thanks.

I'm not aware of any aspect of the software that does that, Dana. Can you give me a screenshot of the web page you're shown when you try to submit your post containing the command prompt codes?

Dana, we looked a bit more into it and you're getting that screen because the post content is triggering a security block. It's most likely not possible to work around this, so it's recommended that you use pastebin.com/ to paste whatever you're trying to post and just link to that instead of trying to include it in the post itself.
