I'm making this poll because in a few years I see Digital taking a huge leap and becoming the main source for entertainment. So which do you prefer? I'm on digital's side and this is why - No wait line, with digital you can just click a button and have it saved onto your hdd - Tax free; Most digital content does not hold state tax to it. - Copy for life; Ultimately I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had this happen but discs scratch up. - Less clutter, obviously digital is eco friendly to the environment and I don't have to deal with a buttload of cases. Bad sides to digital - No refunds - Not good for those with slower speeds; however I'm talking the future more and more people are getting faster connection these days so I dont think it's that big of deal I still collect physical things such as games if they are cheaper or a good price tag but most days I'm all digital.

Definitely digital. I've been selling almost all of my physical media (save for a few favorites) since physical copies of things are usually redundant and just take up space. Plus, I really like not having things. - Copy for life; Ultimately I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had this happen but discs scratch up. This is a big selling point for me, too. You're responsible for making backup copies of your stuff, but assuming all of your backups don't fail all at once, you never have to worry about the files being lost. Meanwhile, at least 5% of the CDs I've bought from eBay have come pre-scratched.

I like digital for most things, but my exception is books. That and collector's editions of games I really like, because you get all sorts of cool things with those. Otherwise, digital is pretty nifty, especially combined with cloud storage.

The problem with digital is it depends on your device and/or electricity/batteries. If any of these things fail, you lose all access to said content. On the other hand, a physical copy of a disk/book can get lost, scratched or ripped, wet and damaged, and I suppose burn and destroyed in a fire.
In terms of usage, I love the feeling of a good old book in my hands, but watching a movie on a big screen TV in one click or press of a button is always nice.
For me it depends on the content, where/how I will view/enjoy the content, and what the content's target audience and presentation is. Stories through books, movies through TV, music through radio in car or iPod.

Happy for digital mainly, but I do still buy books and CDs (where possible) - I don't think digital will ever replace the feeling of opening a CD, reading the booklet and admiring the album art.

For me it depends. For music i like a physical copy if i can get one. I like looking at CDs album art and the books with lyrics in them but otherwise i don't mind digital.
Books I only get digital if not able to hold it like its too large or heavy.

Digital. I like physical copies on occasion, but digital is just much more convenient.

Physical media for games, music, books, and similar just seems like a waste of space and resources at this point. :-p

Digital for most things, although there are some blurays and boxsets where it's nice to have a physical copy to put on display. With games, it depends on the best price. It's usually cheaper to get a 2nd hand physical copy, or on offer or something, than to download from xbox live. With music, I haven't bought a cd for years. I think the last one was a Mando Diao album that wasn't available on iTunes, maybe 4 years ago.

Most people own more than two devices that can run digital content Nevertheless, are our devices fully dependable? Pretty much if not you can replace them at affordable cost. But nothing ever lasts. It's like owning a car really.
