v1.0.0 - January 17, 2015 Saturday, January 17, 2015 - Initial Release

Hi @burkeknight. Forum URL: stoshadowcompany.proboards.com/We're using your Star Trek theme and noticed that the text goes into the avatar box in messages. Is there a way to get the text shifted right so it's not in the box? Thanks! Attachments:

You may need to change the width of your mini profile. I had found that on a test site, after setting the width too large, Lynx.

Thank you for the reply, @burkeknight. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to go to change it. I've looked through the visual editor, went to the Message page and brought up a message (so I could see what options lit up in the visual editor area) and see things like a border radius, but I know that's not it because it's only at 2px. I didn't see a mini-profile width setting. I've also looked in the stylesheet - it's possible I missed it there. I've also gone to the layout templates and brought up mini-profile, and tried adding in a div to set the width, but I probably messed the code up somehow. I'm still fairly new to ProBoards, but I'm trying to learn. This has me stumped though. Any help in pointing me to where I have to go to adjust it would be much appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out. Dummy me tried adding a new div and all I had to do was to add a style to set the width on the first div in the layout template. Thanks again for the help! Another Edit: Looks perfect on my Messages now: but now I've got a bigger gap (there was a gap, but more of one now) on the forum posts: Is there a way to get the text body to shift left some, so it's closer to the mini-profile? If so, where would I go to fix that. Thank you very much!

Well, looks like the change could have gone to the div container for the post, instead of for the mini-profile. I'm basically mobile mainly now, due to some issues offline, so my pc is mainly not doing much. Hard for me to check, with the tablet.

@burkeknight, Since PhotoBucket has changed their policy, do you still have the images used for this theme? I tried going to the link to get the images directly off of PhotoBucket, but it's showing that darn generic image: I hope you still have the original images for this theme, as we have a Star Trek Online forum that uses it. Thanks!

Since PhotoBucket has changed their policy, do you still have the images used for this theme? It's unfortunate that the theme uses an externally hosted image. I have no idea why the author did that. On my board I was able to find a replacement image, upload it, and then edit the CSS to replace it. This is a bit of a hack, but it works. Here's what I did. - Find a replacement starfield image. The one I used was from giffy. You may have to fiddle a bit to save the image locally, but do that.
The theme also uses an LCARS background image. This is actually included as an image in the theme, but then the CSS in the theme inexplicably links to photobucket. We'll replace this link below. - Get the URL of the LCARS background image on your board. I'm using boards.net - on my control panel Admin -> Themes -> Theme Manager -> Star Trek -> Images Tab. Scroll to the bottom under custom theme images and find "bg". Click the link button and record that link.
- Upload the new starfield image. In the same area you just grabbed the bg link, click "Add New Image" -> Upload and upload the starfield image you downloaded locally in step 1. Then click on "link" and record the link URL.
- Replace image URLs in the CSS. Go back to Admin -> Themes -> Advanced Styles & CSS -> CSS tab. Line 58 has the setting "@body_background_image", replace the URL with the one you got in step 2. Click in the text, hit CTRL-F and find each instance of "sternenhimmel", which is part of the link to the bad starfield. Replace the whole URL inside single quotes with your uploaded one from step 3. On my CSS that was lines 134, 425, and 429.
- Click "Save Changes"
That's it. You should now have a watermark free theme. I've exported the theme from my board and attached it here. I took the liberty of updating the minor revision to make it version 1.0.2. My email address is in the notes in case anyone has issues. Attachments:Star Trek 102.pbt (116.61 KB)
