Conspiracy theories usually just make me laugh. Especially the 9/11 conspiracy theories. Such idiots. They'll sit there and accept obviously doctored youtube videos as proof of something they have no understanding of, yet reject perfectly sound scientific opinion / articles written by experts in the field. There are two kinds of experts, those that lie, and those that don't. For example, Brigadier Gen. Bentin K. Partin claims a truck bomb couldn't possibly have done the damage to the Murrah building. His analysis is supported by live news reports, confirming multiple sophisticated bombs were placed inside the building and some of which failed to detonate. The FBI's experts insist it was a truck, yet refuse to release footage of the truck bomb, even when ordered to by a judge. Who's lying? physics911.net/generalpartinreport/

There's an interesting contradiction, the NSA has all our emails and phone calls since 2000 stored yet the FBI loses the tapes for one of it's most explosive cases (no pun intended).

Because the FBI has refused to release footage does not necessarily mean footage does noteist; nor, does it necessarily mean the truck bomb wasn't responsible for the damage done. It just means the FBI has refused to release the footage.
If the FBI is destroying tapes, we don't know why. Everything I read about the purported threats was just that: Purported threats. Because someone says someone else says somebody said ... well, do I really have to say more?
I don't like assumption. If I don't know, I'd rather just say I don't know than make something up to fit what I think I might possibly figure I know. That way lies folly.

mmhmm it's a fair comment you made based on limited information but if you read more about the FOIA requests and court cases, you'd find the FBI is more than likely destroying evidence.
One set of video tapes they did release taken from 4 separate buildings all had footage missing at the point of time of the truck explosion. All security cameras were supposed to have been changing their tapes at the same time, according to the FBI.
Another tape they were ordered to release they claimed they couldn't find or it had been destroyed during flood damage.
So either the FBI is careless with evidence and doesn't make backups of tapes, or they're lying.
PS. did you watch the news reports I linked earlier? Why do the witnesses and white house officials claim there are multiple sophisticated unexploded bombs which were taken away from the scene?

Sorry, drut, but I'm a fact-based, logical person. "More than likely", based on pieced together information, just isn't good enough for me. When you've got to go to "either/or", you know you don't have the information necessary for an informed decision. As to what witnesses claim, that's always "iffy". If you ask the same question of several witnesses, you'll get several answers. People make claims, too. I can make claims. So can you. That doesn't make the claims true. I'm just not the type to speculate on not enough information. Never have, and I'm not about to start now.

And just as often, those threats were never made. The claims of threats were untrue. If an investigation has been launched, I'm all for letting that investigation continue. What I will not do is prognosticate on the results of that investigation - considering I don't know a blinking thing about any of it and am not the type to believe everything I read on the internet.

If the threat was made by phone the NSA would have recorded it. But what's the bet a judge won't be able to get such a phone call released? Just like US senators who claim the redacted 911 report shows one or more foreign intelligence services was involved can't get that uncensored report released ...

Taking bets on future outcomes? Nah. Not my style.
