I did not see a thread on this, unless I missed it. I was suggested to ask Peter here about this. I have a shout box on my forum that is collapsible. I have made it (thanks to T.C.) so that it only comes up if it is clicked again instead of everytime it refreshes. There is an eye on it next to the shout count. I want to move it to the right to replace the -- on the box. How would I achieve this. Here is a link to my forum so you can see what I am referring to. digital United World Forum

Two, Your code needs to be changed in the code where it was made if possible. You want to add the style- (float: right) to the image and remove the -- completely

OK, I got rid of the -- now it is just getting the eye moved over to where the -- was. How do I make that happen? I guess I would need to speak to someone on plugins because this is dealing with the collapsible shoutbox plugin?

I guess I would need to speak to someone on plugins because this is dealing with the collapsible shoutbox plugin? Well it depends, getting the -- gone was a good start. But now your Eyeball is missing. If you type javascript:$('.shoutbox.container.full').find('.title-bar').find('span:last').html('<img src="http://images.proboards.com/v5/info/members.png">') in your browser url on chrome or firefox, it will show you a preview of what your chatbox would look like with an image And it seems to screw up your chatbar layout. I don't know if you want to add an image at this point.

I decided to just leave it be. LOL Its not causing any issues as it is. Just want to spice up the site some more now.
Is there a way that I can make the home page look one way for guest and be personalized for logged in members or do I have to create two different pages? The reason I ask is that I created a home page that when a person logs in it becomes personalized allowing them to see their account info along with recent threads and messages. When a guest is looking at my homepage, in place of the first container which would just have text to let the guest know who we are. If you go to my site and then log in, I think this would make more sense as to what I am saying. I guess I might have to make two home pages. One for members and one for guest, but when members login, can I make it so that it takes them to their personal homepage. I know, I'm being a pain. LOL

Can't you just change your homepage to a custom page or something to that effect? Or is it a profile page you need? I don't see anything against the ToS for redirect on login (as long as it's within your forum). It's just that detecting when a user log's in would be like: User is Guest = create cookie that says redirect when login User logs in = delete cookie, redirect url User stays logged in for a week User goes back and has been logged out = create cookie that says redirect when login Is that something you would want?

This is basically what I am trying to figure out if and how to do.
I have a custom home page up right now. This is the page everyone sees first. When a member logs in I want it to redirect to a similar page that instead of the site info on it, it changes to the users profile information. Basically, a successful login redirects to a personalized home page similar but slightly different from the regular home page.
So I have the regular home page up as the home page now. I have the personalized home page designed but just sitting around to figure out how to direct from a successful login. I think I have to go into the actual coding to do this, but not sure how.

Redirect On Login.pbp (807 B) I made a simple redirect for you. Just specify the url you want to redirect to under manage plugin and it should be good. If you want to add the user number variable to your url just use 'pbuser' Like if you wanted to redirect them to their user page it would be: forum.freeforums.net/user/pbuser

PERFECT! Thank you so much. That is exactly what I wanted it to do. I have REALLY got to learn how to create my own plugins. LOL. You are a GOD!

I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad it works for you. There are some guides, but I taught myself javascript because my forum needed some cool features and here I am. It's a long road and you get better, but the easiest way to learn is to examine working code. All of my plugins are open for viewing. I learned from examining the awards plugin, and modifying it for my needs. It's not easy though, you really need Chrome or Firefox with developer tools, (which come built in), to find out where your code is making a mistake. But best of luck on your journey.

Noticed a single issue. If the person hits the home button on my site it takes them to the portal page rather then their member home page. Is there a code I would put in to make it so that if they hit that home page it becomes the members home page? Does that make any sense? LOL

IF you need to use the members user number in your url, just use pbuser (like I stated above) You would have to post the url of where it's going verses, what it should be going to for me to understand what you need.
