Thanks @xsteveuk, it does indeed look like you're routing through a new IP rather than before, which would explain the difference. Not sure why Vern66 is still being routed through the previous IP.
Vern66, since you noted that you've already flushed the DNS, can you try unplugging your internet modem and router for up to one minute and then plug it back in, then restart your computer. See if this may help at all.

I performed a power reset on the router to no avail. Flushed dns again, rebooted pcs, but still pinging the same ip address which is timing out.

Just to confirm, Vern, did you unplug both your modem and router for a minute or more? Doing this to the router alone, or for less than a minute could prevent the solution from taking full effect so I want to make sure.

I'm having the same problems as Vern66. I've done everything you have advised X twice. I still can't get my forum to load up properly. On the ping still showing same ip address as Verne66 31.186.225.25 I've had this slow loading problem for almost a week now. My forum is login.proboards.com/select/login/3272114?origin=

Hey Redbird, thanks for the information. You mentioned you tried everything that was advised in this thread, but if I could double check to make sure you've done the following:
- Unplug modem and router for a at least a minute - Flush DNS - Clear cookies/cache - Restart computer

Thanks for confirming that. We're still deliberating on what the best course of action is for those still experiencing the problem, as the root cause of this issue is a bit out of our reach to address, and solutions are not yet immediately clear.

Hope you are getting closer to a solution to this problem, I'm the main admin on my forum but still unable to get it to load up properly. I have redone all the tests this morning... flushing dns, switching off laptop, modem etc. hoping that with it being a working day something would have altered... Alas no luck. I am still getting this rubicon project with IP 31.186.225.251.
The forum I run is a fundraising one for various animals rescues and my not being able to post or email everyone via my forum is having a bad impact on our fundraising. Please see if you can sort as soon as possible. Thank you in anticipation.

Sorry for late reply. Am at work now, but tried rebooting router/modem again last night to no avail.

Me again just to let you know I posted on Virgin Media's Facebook page earlier asking for help with this problem. They advised me to post on their forum so it could be seen by their admins. Here's a link to my posts (I'm redcanary on there) I posted on the thread started by another Virgin customer having the same issue and unable to get on PB forums. community.virginmedia.com/t5/Tech-Chatter/slow-load-Website/td-p/2776346Please, please can someone from PB's and/or Virgin sort this asap?

Hi Everyone! Could those affected perform the following: Open your start bar, in the search type cmd and hit enter. In the command prompt type: ping anvil.rubiconproject.comand then hit enter. Once that's completed please take a screenshot of the results and post them here. Thank you! Doesn't appear to be a valid url for me. I am a VM customer and getting slow forum loading too. Hi, As mentioned in many of the previous posts we're waiting on Virgin Media to resolve this issue at this time.

I'm having a similar problem with this Anvil.Rubicon thing, but I don't get my internet through Virgin.
None of my 2,000 plus forum members have reported a problem to me though.
