Forum URL: highlandertcg.proboards81.comIs there a way to allow users to view all new posts since their last visit? maybe something that is listed in the info center? I see that there is a listing of the most recent posts, but not one for all new posts since last visit. thanks.

You can change the amount of posts listed here at... admin -> general settings

yeah, but I'm looking for something that will list all unread posts for each user. So when they log on the can see a list of all of the new posts since last time they visited.

True but I have had requests for ways to view all posts that users have not yet read. If is a simple fix (pluggin some code in or something like that), I'd like to do that. If is more involved than that they will just have to live with what they have.

thats what I suspected. right now the forum isn't that large, but it is growing, so eventualy it would be just to huge a list anyway.
Thanks!

I must admit, that is one feature on other boards i have never really understood. I mean, as higgerz has already stated, each topic that has received a new post will show as new, so you have that as a guide as to what topics you need to read, if you want to read them... and that to me is the key. This 'view all posts since last visit'... if you loaded that on here, even if gone a day, it would load 3000 posts at least, and all of those will be out of order, as in, topics within topics, and that's if the page has loaded before you could be bothered to wait any longer. I guess i just never understood it.... am i missing something?
