Hi,
What is Proboards' policy about the possibility to monetise the creation of custom content, such as plugins and themes?
Is there any intention to have a plugin and themes store, where premium themes and plugins could be monetised? Maybe Proboards could make staff picks of the best themes per month and estimate a price for them, much like how it happens on the Envato market site.

It's been brought up before and talked about and I know some of the better designers and even coders are keeping their figures crossed this happens in the future sometime. I imagine setting up a pay system where ProBoards could rightfully take a cut (for hosting/etc) and then the other part goes to the designer/coder would be a very costly endeavor and not to just set up the pay aspect of it but lawyers and accountants would be involved and who knows what all, to make something like this happen. But do check back for a admin response as you never know if things have changed lately.

Also for what it's worth, you can always take commissions on your own for themes and whatnot, provided you make certain to note that you are not affiliated with proboards and that your clients are hiring you at their own risk (for lack of a better term).
