Attachments button not working

For some reason when using my Swords and Shields theme the attachments button isn't working. When pressed nothing happens. Would anyone know why? Thanks.

Edited to add: Went through a bunch more of my themes and it's happening on all that I checked. The Garden, Forza, Bamboo Panda, Cake and Acorn. I know it used to work because I've added attachments in the past.

Have you looked in Admin > Settings > Manage Attachments to see if your space is full, or almost full?

Thanks for the reply. I have attachments enabled on my forum, and no I haven't used up my space.

I was alerted to the issue by two people using one of my themes on their own forums. Swords and Shields and Forza. I thought they might not have attachments enabled on their forums. So I tried to add an attachment on my own forum and couldn't. I've added attachments in the past.

there are two ways to solve the problem
reset the posting template for the theme or support.proboards.com/post/6367448

I can confirm the above post as the issue, Jen Parsons. A change was made to the posting page layout template to support our drag-and-drop attachment uploader, but themes didn't automatically update to include it to avoid any large-scale issues.

For any theme experiencing this issue, go to Admin > Structure > Layout Templates > Posting Page and find $[form.footer]. Make a new line above it, and paste this:

$[attachment_widget]
</div>

Thank you, David Clark. I had two members post this evening that attachments were not working for them. It would be nice to not get caught by surprise like this. Maybe an announcement to site owners would be a consideration?

ETA: I added the fix to my themes, but I have a different problem regarding this issue, I will start a new thread.
