Hello! I'm not sure if this is right section, but. I'm working on a theme for a friend's board and added a sidebar. At their request, I learned how to add a button to close it, but simply making it disappear and leave an empty space bothers me. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to do a script that centers and resizes the board wrapper when the sidebar is closed. I honestly don't understand JavaScript at all, so any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated. I've already done a lot of experimenting with it, to no avail, and finding resources is hard. Thank you! Here's a link to what I have of the theme, so far. Any other feedback would also be appreciated, as this is my first time doing this.

Did you use a plugin to add the sidebar in?

Did you use a plugin to add the sidebar in? No, I used code for it in the Forum Wrapper. Would a plugin be better?

I believe the Redux Sidebar plugin has (in its options) the ability to close (collapse) the sidebar. I've linked the thread so you can take a look at it to see if it'll suit your needs.

No, unfortunately that doesn't have the option I'm looking for. I already have a 'close sidebar' button for my theme that works just fine, but what I'm looking for is a script to have the forum wrapper scoot over and maybe resize when the sidebar is closed. But, thank you for the suggestion.
