Adding a linkable image in your posts or signatureTo add an image to your posts or signature area that brings you to another website when clicked, you can use a combination of the Link and Image BBCode to achieve this. Use the following as a template: [a href="URL TO WEBSITE"][img src="DIRECT URL TO IMAGE" alt="Image Text"][/a] With the above BBCode, replace the URL TO WEBSITE text with the link that you want people to be directed to when they click on the image. An example of a URL link that you would use here would be: www.proboards.com Next, replace the DIRECT URL TO IMAGE text with the direct URL to the image you want to have displayed in your post or signature area. An example of a direct image URL you would use here would be: images.proboards.com/hotlink/proboards_white_145x36.pngLastly, the alt text is what will display on the page if the image is unable to load. This could be because a visitor has images disabled in their web browser, or if your image host is experiencing problems displaying your image. Change the Image Text to something appropriate for your image. Just as an example, when these two are combined the final BBCode will look like the following: [a href="http://www.proboards.com"][img src="http://images.proboards.com/hotlink/proboards_white_145x36.png" alt="ProBoards Forum Hosting"][/a] This will display like the following when used in a post or signature:
