Its not possible unless you patch into the ajax{beforeSend|Success} event, then store the thread ID into an array on a user key. yootil.element.get.user_posts() This will only get the posts if you are in the thread, which is not what you want. As the Dom objects would not be available on that thread load. You can hook into the ajax post method using $.ajaxPreFilter settings and manipulate the "success" or "beforeSend" mthods Once you have an array of thread ID's a user posted to, you can then loop through them to compare the array(s) against the thread IDs available in the board list It most certainly is.. Use a thread key instead of a user key, and write the user ID to the key with the 'set-on' function.

Hello, I was wondering am I allowed to download this too even though it was made for amanda? If Amanda is OK with it, go for it.

Hmmm.... If you could post a link to your forum, and have a board that is available for guests to view, I'll take a look and try to find the problem. The problem with that is the theme is in development and only available for staff to view. I don't want it to be viewable by everyone until it's done. It works some of the time (rarely) when a user posts in a thread, or reposts into a thread. So if we can coordinate a time where you'll be available to look I can set the theme to default just long enough for you to take a peak and then hide it again. Let me know. The problem there is that I'm not online at regular times, so I can't really give you a time and guarantee I'll be here. If it works some of the time, I'd also need to do some testing, so maybe it would be better to wait until your theme goes public, or unless you have a test forum that can be used for bug fixing.

Hello, I was wondering am I allowed to download this too even though it was made for amanda? If Amanda is OK with it, go for it. I don't mind if other people use it. It's a neat idea and plugin all together, though a template mod goes with it and I'm not sure if Azy is okay with releasing that as of yet?

My suggestion was it could even be put into the plugin library maybe?

My suggestion was it could even be put into the plugin library maybe? As Teg is OK with it, I'll probably edit the plugin to work with the standard PB template and add it to the library, once I can find why it seems to be a bit hit and miss on her forum.

Teg, have you seen any pattern with the successes or failures of this code? Like only working with certain member groups etc? It should also be noted that there are certain instances where the code will fail.. Any posts made with the PB App will not be recorded Also, if more than one person is authoring a post in the same thread at the same time, the last one to submit their post will overwrite an changes to the key made by the previous posters, which could remove their ID from the key.

No, I've not noticed anything like that. I know, for me specifically, I post in one thread it works, then immediately afterwards I post in another and it doesn't work.

The code doesn't record to the key when you CREATE a thread, only when you post in an already existing thread, in case that is what you are seeing.

Todge, I think I've pin-pointed the problem here. After some testing, it's come to my attention that it works when you use fully reply, but not when you use quick reply option at the footer of a thread. These two were used with full reply: And these two with the quick reply
