So, we've customized some things in a theme we're building for our forum. We have the topic creator's avatar and the created by column in a different place. See below: What we'd like for someone to create a plugin that will add an avatar indicator to a thread for any thread that a user has posted in like below: If anyone could work on this, We'd love you Azy, Dave B, Teg will all be happy

We would certainly be very happy! Me particularly, because I'm locked away in Teg's dungeon until I get her forum finished. (Send help!) I'm thinkening mayhaps, the Great and Powerful Oz Tumbleweed can help, or perhaps even TodgePlease help! Win cash prizes!* *Legal disclaimer: Cash prizes not available.

I assume you want the viewers avatar to be displayed over the creators avatar, and not the other way around..
Also, this plugin will require a key.

That's right, yeah. The main avatar, the big one, will be the person that created the thread. That big we got working easy. The smaller avatar will be the avatar of the current user, if that user posted in the thread. I thought it might require a key. Definitely it'd need a plugin. Thank you looking at this, and good luck! x

Could you please PM me the template you are using to move the 'Created By' cell containing the thread creators' avatars.
Thank you.

Give this a try....The plugin will only work on threads that you post in AFTER the plugin has been installed and activated, so threads that you have already posted in will not be hi-lighted until you post in them again.

Alright, so I installed the plugin and posted in a thread and it didn't work. So I moved the plugin from the bottom of the list to the top under the monetary stuff and posted in a different thread, and that didn't work either. Hmmm.

Hmmm.... If you could post a link to your forum, and have a board that is available for guests to view, I'll take a look and try to find the problem.

Hmmm.... If you could post a link to your forum, and have a board that is available for guests to view, I'll take a look and try to find the problem. The problem with that is the theme is in development and only available for staff to view. I don't want it to be viewable by everyone until it's done. It works some of the time (rarely) when a user posts in a thread, or reposts into a thread. So if we can coordinate a time where you'll be available to look I can set the theme to default just long enough for you to take a peak and then hide it again. Let me know.

Hello, I was wondering am I allowed to download this too even though it was made for amanda? Personally, I don't mind. But, clear it with Todge first. And, as of right now, we're debuggering... So, it would be best to wait until it's working properly anyway

Its not possible unless you patch into the ajax{beforeSend|Success} event, then store the thread ID into an array on a user key.
yootil.element.get.user_posts() This will only get the posts if you are in the thread, which is not what you want. As the Dom objects would not be available on that thread load. You can hook into the ajax post method using $.ajaxPreFilter settings and manipulate the "success" or "beforeSend" mthods Once you have an array of thread ID's a user posted to, you can then loop through them to compare the array(s) against the thread IDs available in the board list
