Ok, so I've got the 'tracker status' plugin which Iv put under the mp in posts, and Iv added a class to it to give a scrollable box. im wanting to put this 'tracker status' in a sidebar on the right aswell, but I want to get rid of the scroll box and add different css etc. can I add a different class to this ? Iv no idea how this works sorry. thank you

come on man, im getting old bump Why aren't you posting this in the plugin thread for that plugin? Also, did you try using a different class and see if you can do it? Sometimes it is easier to just try something rather than posting the question and bumping. But if you don't want to do that then I'd suggest you post in that plugin's support thread. I'd post a link to it but I'm not 100% sure which plugin that is.

its the status tracking plugin, but it was a general 'can u use 2 classes' question really sorry.
what shall i do ?

what shall i do ? Is this something I can see as a guest or only for admin? You may be able to preface your css with the container it is in thus allowing two different styles. If I could see what side bar you are using I could give you the class preface you'd need but I'm not sure what the mp preface would be. But this is not the actual classes/id's you'd need, this is just an example to maybe get you on the right track but your css might be something like this: .sidebarr-left-td #yourclasshere{ style here } .mp #yourclasshere{ style here }

so im stuck again.
It is for the guests to see buuuuuut its not important if they dont see it.

Just add that css to your style sheet and then add the class you said you added because you said: "and Iv added a class to it to give a scrollable box". Actually if you add a class and not an ID, then it should be dot instead, like I have below. .sidebarr-left-td . yourclasshere{ style here } .mp . yourclasshere{ style here } If you give me a link to the forum you are trying this on, I can give you the exact css. I just gave that as an example.

First, is that css right in the plugin? If it is, I'd try it at the bottom of your style sheet so for the mini profile it would be something like this: .mini-profile #statusTracking{ width: 173px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; } font.status_tracking_text {font-size:13px;} a.status_tracking_user {color:#A9B157;font-size:16px;} And then for the side bar add your div: <div id="statusTracking" ></div> And then the css for that would be: (and then style it and make it the height you want.) .sidebarr-left-td #statusTracking{ width: 173px; height: 150px; } Hope that works. Removed some junk that wasn't supposed to be here.

Tumbleweed ok i put the css in the style sheet like you said and the overflow scroll bar thingy wasnt there in the mp, so i've taken it out and havent done anything else. .mini-profile #statusTracking{ width: 173px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; } font.status_tracking_text {font-size:13px;} a.status_tracking_user {color:#A9B157;font-size:16px;}

It might still work if you just add the side table css and the div. Or it may not.

Are you sure you have the css like this with the class and id like I have it? .mini-profile #statusTracking{ width: 173px; height: 150px; overflow: auto; } If you do then I won't be able to help you unless I add the mp and status tracking plugin and try it myself and I'm not sure when I'll do that or if I even want to do that but feel free to keep bumping but I'd recommend you keep bumping in the status tracking plugin thread. You may have better luck there.
