Top 10 MUST haves?

So I'm in the process of creating a forum for a mobile game (sorta like a gaming community). I'm curious to hear from you guys about what are the 10 absolute must have things for a forum like this. (Aside from the obvious stuff) 
I'm looking for things that are unique just not far out there, I want users to be able to easily communicate with each other and have a nice customizable feel that makes them feel like they haven't wandered too far away from the game itself.

This thread is too vague, man. You've given us no details on what the game is, not even a genre; you have given no parameters on what is "unique" and what is "far out there" (these are very subjective). How can we give suggestions that will help players feel they "haven't wandered too far away from the game itself" when we don't even know what game it is?

I mean, what good is giving a top ten features list for a site we know only is about a mobile game? :X What if I gave you information based on pokemon go, or neko atsume, or sailor moon dream drop? Would any of those be helpful for what you're trying to achieve? (I'm being facetious, but hopefully you get my point)
