So, I have a plugin request.
You know when you rank up on a forum, and your rank icon changes (if it was set to)... well, how about your username color changes to whatever the admin has set that rank username color to!
Ex:
Rank 1=1-10 posts | Username
Rank 2=10-25 posts | Username
Rank 3=25-75 posts | Username
Rank 4=75-150 posts | Username
Rank 5=150+ posts | Username
etc.
It will be kinda like this plugin but with the option to add ranks to change normal member`s names depending on their rank ID.

I think the problem here is that the user's rank is not available on every page the user's name is visible. For instance on the home page when you are online it has your user id and your user group, but not your rank so this wouldn't be possible without using keys in some way (possibly even a global key).
Now I have been out of ProBoards coding for a long time so I am not the most knowledgable on the topic, but I think this may be the reason people are reluctant to work on this plugin.

Post count/rank is indeed not linked to user names. It is only available in certain sections of your forum, which is where you can already see the rank in most cases. The whole global forum key idea is pretty far-fetched as to index an item for every member, every time ONE member updates their post count. So frankly it is impossible at the time being. |
