Wonder if it would be possible ore if there is already a plugin out there for a thread's creator to bookmark interesting posts in a thread, so that anyone can use that list of bookmarks to jump directly to those posts. For example, a timeline author might their posts, so that people can find them even if there's also a lot of discussion in the thread.

If you go to the top right of a post and hit the gear button, you'll see "link to post." It'll give you 2 link options, either will take you directly to the post rather than the first post in a thread. Great way to make a linkable table of contents or send someone to a specific post! If they want to "bookmark" a post, they can just copy that link into their personal notes area under "Edit Profile."

Feel free to still wait for a plugin, of course ^^ But that's the current built-in functionality
