I'm sure there must be a plug-in conflicting, but I'm not sure what. I tried adding a reason for editing to a post, but nothing showed up and when I went back in to edit again, the box was blank. So I added the Administrator Note plug-in and that did the exact same thing.
Can anyone help me figure out why it's not working? It's not like I have many plug-ins and I'm not sure how any of them could be keeping an edit reason from showing up.

A link to a guest-friendly post where the edit reason should have shown up would help. Otherwise, all anyone can do is guess. Have you tried disabling all plugins then turning them back on one at a time - testing the edit reason before turning on the next? My only thoughts are maybe the Disable editing after a set time may be preventing that if you are editing after the allowed edit time. Not sure exactly how that plugin works. Tagging Todge, as he may know if that plugin would do that.

Hey-ya, The Disable editing after a set time plugin shouldn't effect the edit reason, it would block you from editing the post altogether unless you are the admin ar a staff member if that function was selected.. As you can get the edit page, the reason for editing should be available. As it is not, that will also stop the Administrator Note plugin from working, as that effectively hijacks and locks the editing reason. As for your other plugins, I can't think of one that should stop it from working. All I can suggest is to do as Lynx has suggested above, and if that fails (and assuming you do not have any header/footer codes, mention in Support.

I am having problems myself not working. As per forum rules, please do not bring up posts more than 30 days old / please don't piggy back off of other people's posts. If you are having an issue with the Administrator Note plugin, please create your own thread and be sure to provide a link of your forum, as well as a description of what is "not working" and what you're expecting to happen. We won't be able to assist you without this information as there could be a number of issues that are preventing something from functioning.
