HI,

I was telling a friend about pro-boards and her question is how user friendly is pro-board for mobile apps.

Is there a mobile app for pro-boards?

Or is there another mobile app that can be used to access pro-boards?

She has an board on taptalk groups, but lost a lot when they took over yuku, and most of her members use phones or tablets.

I can't answer, as I don't really know how cell phones work, or tablets work.

When accessing ProBoards from a mobile web browser you'll be taken to a more condensed mobile version of the forum. In the next version of ProBoards the default theme will utilize a responsive design, meaning that both the desktop and mobile version of the forum will rely on the same layout (a responsive design alters the page's appearance based on screen resolution).

The Tapatalk app on iOS and Android can also be used to access ProBoards forums.

There was a Proboards app in the past, but it no longer exists. You can use Tapatalk to access Proboards forums, and other forums.

When you attempt to access any Proboards forum on your phone's browser, it will automatically load the mobile version for you. I *LOVE* it so much. It's very clean and simple. It will cut out all the fluff, flair, scripts, plugins, and codes. What you are left with is something that is very mobile-friendly, and won't use a lot of data.

I re-read that old topic, but it is still confusing, as all of the boards after the take over have taptalk in url's now,

Tapatalk is an app that can be used to browse forums. That's pretty much all there is to say about its relation to ProBoards.

The only large difference between browsing the mobile web version of the forum and using Tapatalk is your ability to upload attachments within Tapatalk.
