Hi, astro123 . I think the easiest way to accomplish this would be to use CSS to target those links based on their URL. You could add something like this to the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet. The text I've colored green above would be replaced with the URL that button leads to exactly as it's typed in the URL column in Settings > Forum Settings > Navigation in your admin area. You can replace the hex colors I've specified above with whatever colors you'd like for those particular buttons. Duplicate these lines over and over again for each menu button you wish to change the color of. Note that the current page button color will always override the colors you specify here on whichever menu button corresponds to the page you're currently viewing. If you don't want this to happen you can search for this line (usually line 269) in the style sheet: And replace it with this:

You could also try the Navbar Links plugin to see if that works for you. Support thread if you need help: support.proboards.com/thread/612877Please note that links added to the navbar through this plugin append the links on the navbar - rather than by user placement. Just tossing out another option for you. If you're looking for user placement (in between specific links in the navbar), then I'd go with Brian's solution.
