I cannot figure out how to make tables that stay a specific width for certain collumns. I would like something similar to this site, but with three collumns, instead of two; infidelis.boards.net/thread/15/barc-shop
But whenever I use the table button above, it always resizes and changes alignment and only the column with the most text gets wider. If there's a general rule of thumb, or code base that I can use for future tables to avoid my aforementioned issue, I'd be happy to know.

hello! i'm assuming you mean that you want a table with three columns that are a set size and do not change? for example:
title one
| column one
| column two
| column three
|
| title two
| column four
| column five
| column six
|
|
this table here is similar to the one you linked yet with three columns (and more rows can be added!). is this what you are looking for? if so it is super simple! all you need to do is: make the table and go into the code, finding anywhere that it says . this is what belongs in front of a column! so to set the style of the column, just do the following:
content of column one here! now this will set the size of the relevant column. but be warned, if there are three columns per row their widths need to add up to the overall width of the table! for example, in my tester table the overall width is 300px and each column is 100px. see what i mean? if this is in fact what you are looking for, then feel free to use my table! just quote this post and pinch the code for it if you like. hope this helped!

There be an app for this.... Help Thread...PluginOnce installed you should have several extra options when creating a table within a post, including cell width.

Thank you both, I will try both options and see which works best for me.
