Hello! I was wondering if there was a specific code that I can input into a thread to link certain parts of the same thread and have the page jump there. For example, if I've got a 5,000 word thread, can I insert a link to quick-jump to the middle of that text? I hope this makes sense, I wasn't sure how else to explain it!

For sure! You can make anchor links by doing the following:
Above the part of the post that you'd like to jump to you need to put this:
[a name="keyword"][/a]
Where keyword is anything you want, but it's good to have it be descriptive of whatever it is you're pointing to. I personally like to have it be a couple lines above where I want people to be able to start reading as it's just nicer to have a bit of space at the top of the screen when people get jumped to it... but that's not necessary.
Next, the link that you want people to click to get directed would look something like this:
[a target="_self" href="/thread/4/#keyword"]Jump[/a]
The contents of the 'href' would be as you would normally do, but with the addition of the #keyword on the end. So for an example, this thread you would have 'href=/thread/649822/code-jump-specific-parts-thread/#keyword' ... if you had setup that 'a name' section somewhere in this thread of course.
Does that all make sense?
Of course if you're just linking to different posts in a thread and not to a specific point in a particular post then it'd probably be nicer to use the 'Link to Post' option instead, which can be found by clicking the little gear icon on any post.
