Evening all,
Is there any way for a user to like a post within a pm?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm afraid not.
Likes are held on the PB servers, and they are not accessible via codes. A plugin could be made to mimic the like you see in posts, but when PMs are private, I don't see what this could achieve.

It would serve to alert ONLY the person receiving a like in a private conversation via their notifications. Rather than adding an acknowledgement via message, where the entire group would be prompted for a new message in that conversation, a like would just confirm to that one person that the user applying the like did read and does agree. Seems like a good bit of code to write for a limited benefit? idk.

I see a 'like' could be seen as both acknowledgement and agreement to a message when there is no need to actually reply, to achieve this i just reply with a thumbs up emoji..
