I have been trying to resize the width of my forum to about 1000px, or something but it refuses to do so. The Forum Width says it's at 990px. but if I use my ruler to meaure it out, it's far over; prntscr.com/jv3w8r I am not sure if it has something to do with the tables in the top and bottom sections of the site, I have tried resizing them, but nothing changes the width.
Does anyone know what I've done wrong at all?

you cant measure pixels by ruler, and your screenshot link doesnt work. however note that size will be relative. pixels are an exact amount but how much space on your screen they take up will depend on your monitor or device resolution. a 100x100 pixel image will appear to take up the whole screen on a 100x100 pixel window, but no space at all on a 1920x1080 pixel window.
if you can fix the link it would be easier to see what you mean by "measuring" it

Sorry about the link error. I am using a browser add-on ruler that I've used for ages that is attached to my browser toolbar. Page Measure:
This is what the site is saying the board with is;
Even without measuring it, I can see that the site is not 990px wide.

Hey Quintur, If I use inspect on your forum, I can see that you have two opposing widths set for the #wrapper element, which is causing the one that's a % (90%) to take precedence over your 990px set value. The reason this is happening is because there's an extra line of css in the styles you've used to set the diagonal striped image in your background. The simplest way to fix this is to go from your visual editor page (the second screenshot above) to the stylesheet tab and on line #59, it should say @wrapper_width: 990px;. Add an !important between the px and semicolon, like so: @wrapper_width: 990px !important; Alternatively, you can scroll to the bottom of your stylesheet and find where you've added in that background image, and remove the width: 90%; in the line underneath the url.

tis ✻ bry I have added in the code that you've said, but it's not appeared to have altered the width at all.
As for the second part, of locating the image and 90% part, I cannot find it
Scrap that, I managed to find the second part, I was looking in the wrong area of the code.
