Forum URL: canadianforumchat.freeforums.net/ I just really like it and love how you have it and was wondering if the Proboards admins share their codes but, if not that's fine, I'm good.

@linette The basic gradient code came from here: Pure CSS3 Gradient Background AnimationI used a script in the board header to apply it to just that thread. Here's the full code: <script> $(document).ready(function() { $('#thread-652820').addClass('unique'); }); </script> <style> .unique, .unique.state-hover { background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #fadad1, #f9d2e1, #d3eef8, #d3f8ef); background-size: 400% 400%; -webkit-animation: Gradient 15s ease infinite; -moz-animation: Gradient 15s ease infinite; animation: Gradient 15s ease infinite; }
@-webkit-keyframes Gradient { 0% { background-position: 0% 50% } 50% { background-position: 100% 50% } 100% { background-position: 0% 50% } } @-moz-keyframes Gradient { 0% { background-position: 0% 50% } 50% { background-position: 100% 50% } 100% { background-position: 0% 50% } }
@keyframes Gradient { 0% { background-position: 0% 50% } 50% { background-position: 100% 50% } 100% { background-position: 0% 50% } } </style> You can read more about keyframes here: w3schools CSS animations

Thank you so much Scott ! Wonder if you could guide me as to where I add this code, I'm not code savvy, at least nowhere near as good as most of your knowledgeable peeps are?

@linette, I put the code in the header for the the support board. (Admin > Structure > Headers & Footers > YourBoardChoice) So I would guess you would do the same for where you want to use it, that is assuming it's just for one thread?
How were you planning on using this?

I figured I read you right the first time but, wasn't sure so I asked.
I was hoping to use it for the threads I pinned, so far it's not working.
Does it only work on announcements?

@linette, no it targets the thread ID. Sorry I should have mentioned that, you will need change the id to that of your thread you are targeting.
It's at the top in this line of code:
$('#thread-652820').addClass('unique');
Change 652820 to the number of your thread.

No worries! Was wondering how I would add more threads to that, would I just use the comma? ','

Never mind, I figured it out! Thank you so very much Scott, very much appreciated for your help and for sharing. Great, glad you were able to figure it out. Don't forget you can change the hex values in this line of code for different color effects. background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #fadad1, #f9d2e1, #d3eef8, #d3f8ef);
