Whenever I try to create a table on my forums, the border never appears. It'll show that I have a border in the preview, but when I post it the border just disappears.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Why is this happening and how can I fix it? Hi penutbuturWhen you create a table with the table button a popup will appear that allows you to select how many rows and columns, etc. There's a checkbox at the bottom that allows you to add a border. You need to click that box if you want a border. The display in the preview will have faint gray lines to indicate where the cell boundaries are if you haven't ticked the box but that's not a border and won't be displayed in a post. Two examples. First without border, then with. Row 1 column 1 | Row 1 column 2 | Row 2 column 1 | Row 2 column 2 |
Row 1 column 1 | Row 1 column 2 | Row 2 column 1 | Row 2 column 2 |

Hey retread, I'm aware of that button but whenever I have that button checked, the border still doesn't show. Could it be because of the colors I have chosen on my theme? If so, how do I fix that?

Hey retread, I'm aware of that button but whenever I have that button checked, the border still doesn't show. Could it be because of the colors I have chosen on my theme? If so, how do I fix that? Could be. Is the background color for your posts black or a very dark color? The preferred fix would be to change the color applied to the border to a color that contrasts with the background color in your posts. But I don't know if we can access what's being applied by the popup. You could add something to the bottom of your style sheet like this: .posts .post .message table td { border: 1px solid @container_text_color_1; }
sourceThat would force all un-bordered table cells to have a border with the same color as the text. But if you tick the box to apply a border it would be in black. The plugin suggested by Todge might be a better choice as it would give you more options.
