Hi, first of all, i apologise for my bad english and if i'm in the wrong section, but i need help and don't even know where the part giving me troubles is...so sorry in advance I need help with the "box" of the forum to finish before Ads...at the moment the forum looks long and "empty", due to people using adblock, so all i need is a way to fix it, like make the white not goin till the end of forum, but before the ads. I saw standard forums but also custom themes having the ads on empty forum background, so if someone is to kind to help this poor newbie soul would be awesome The forum is: HEREI put an image to try to better explain my self: HEREThanks

hello, the use of adblockers is a violation of the proboards terms of service. so your members should not be using it at all, and therefore shouldn't encounter a problem. unless you want to colour the space behind the ads?

Hi stefaniaIf I understand you right, you want to remove the background behind where the adverts are placed. Adding the following CSS to the bottom of your stylesheet will do it. Post back here if this not the effect you are after. /* Forum wrapper background. */ #wrapper { background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); }

hi, thanks for replies! and yes Nscalerr ๐บ is correct, i'm attempting to remove the background, not touching ADs at all xD but sadly i tryed to copy/paste it but didn't worked T_T edit: it remplaced whole forum wrap color, so removed it i think i should find a way for the "footer" only, maybe :/

The wrapper goes for the full length of the forum, including where the adverts and the footer are located, so to effectively remove it from behind where the adverts are you have to remove the background, (or make it transparent).

It looks like that site doesn't have any background, (as in the wrapper area, which is why it is transparent). Below is what they have, (that I could find on their stylesheet).
#wrapper{width:68%;margin:0 auto;overflow-x:hidden;}
Whereas this is what your forum has, (that I can find on your stylesheet - somewhere near the top of the stylesheet). The main difference is that you have a background added.
#wrapper{width:950px;overflow-x:hidden;background:#fff;margin:20px auto 30px;box-shadow:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.498039) 0px 5px 10px;padding:20px;}
Removing the above line and replacing it with the following will make the background semi transparent. This code is identical to the above, except for the background. Add to the bottom of the stylesheet.
#wrapper { width: 950px; overflow-x: hidden; background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); margin:20px auto 30px; box-shadow: 0px 5px 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4); padding: 20px; }

Because of the way the wrapper works, it will always include everything. By making it partially transparent, it would not show up as much yet still be visible.

oh, and is then possible to just change the color of just that box/part? i added the code and took another pic as example: here. As you can see maybe even changing/removing only that white would be great enough, i would change theme, but i love it so much and sorry for all my questions T_T

Had a look at that area and whoever did this theme used an inline style for that area. In the Home template look for the following bit of code.
<div class="footheader">Discord & Affiliates</div> </td> </tr> <tr colspan"2" height="200" style="background-color:#fff;"> <td width="60%" style="padding-top:5px;padding-bottom:5px;">
Then change this bit
<tr colspan"2" height="200" style="background-color:#fff;"> <td width="60%" style="padding-top:5px;padding-bottom:5px;">
to
<tr> <td colspan"2" style="width: 60%; height: 200px; padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px;">
This will remove the white background as well as fix a few coding errors at the same time.

Just spotted a typo in the code I gave you, it should be the following. I left an = out before.
<td colspan="2" style="width: 60%; height: 200px; padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px;">
