There's a comet out there that's getting brighter. This was taken at 9pm last night:
And we're at the start of the Geminid meteor shower, which usually is the best meteor shower of the year.
This is a composite of the stars traveling across the sky 2 nights ago, with one glorious meteor almost making it a bullseye:
